I currently have a stockpile of craft supplies of my own, i began considering the things I could do with them and I learned about craft supply swaps. I have been asking if there already is one in NoCo and there doesn’t seem to be.

These events build community and might let people find something specific they need or things they didn’t know they wanted.

A supply swap is an event where people involved in various artforms donate items and then come and pick through what other people have brought for things that they may need. It build community and saves people money.

Items should be in good condition and useable.

• Paint

• Pencils

• Paper

• Yarn

• Specialty Items : Patterns, Notions, Bobbins, Pallets, easels

Items that are significantly damaged.

• Oil paints and related products (no chemical) 

• Dried-up, unusable paints or adhesives 

• Nearly empty or dried-out materials

Scrap or unusable materials

• Scraps of anything 

• Broken or heavily damaged items 

• Items in unsanitary condition

Hazardous or unsafe materials

• Toxic or hazardous materials 

Other common exclusions

• Furniture

•  Moldy or otherwise damaged supplies 

• Leaking or punctured containers
